GISMO Technology Showcase, 30 March 2022

Join GISMO for their Technology Showcase at Lancaster University on 30 March 2022 to find out how their materials experts and state-of-the-art scientific equipment can help you to improve the performance and reliability of your products and processes.

Wednesday 30 March 2022, 10:00 – 14:00 BST

Take a guided tour of the specialist facilities, see the equipment in action and pick the brains of GISMO experts across the fields of chemistry, engineering and physics whether you are looking to develop new products or improve existing products and processes. See for yourself equipment that can analyse, characterise, test and create materials, formulations and products over length scales from metres to nanometres.

Step into specialist facilities such as the IsoLab where vibration, noise and electromagnetic disturbance have been drastically reduced to create an “ultra-clean” measurement environment.

Make a note of the capabilities, equipment and expertise of interest to you and after the tour, sit down with GISMO experts to see how they can help you to understand and exploit the latest techniques.

As a small business in Cheshire and Warrington, you get fully funded access to the experts, facilities and equipment through the GISMO project, which can help you to find new materials and formulations, test and characterise materials and products, trial new technologies and build prototypes.

GISMO is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund with support from Lancaster University and the UK Government Northern Powerhouse.
