NIHR Southampton BRC Open Day 2023
Join the NIHR Southampton BRC Open Day in Southampton to discover the latest advances from BRC researchers and hear how you can engage with the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).
Date: Thursday 15 June 2023.
Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Britannia Road, Southampton, SO14 5FP.
This full-day event will be open and engaging to everyone across the University or Trust, whether you are already part of the partnership or simply wanting to hear more or kickstart a research career.
The Open Day will include updates from the BRC’s five research themes:
- Nutrition, Lifestyle and Metabolism
- Respiratory and Allergy
- Data, Health and Society
- Microbiology, Immunology and Infection
- Perioperative and Critical Care
Lunch will be provided.
The NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is a longstanding partnership between University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Southampton. Their vision is to enhance health and quality-of-life by improving resilience to disease, injury and the consequences of ageing across the lifecourse through translation of world-class experimental medicine.
