Water Industry Film Shorts contest

Water Industry TV are running a global film shorts competition with support from the International Water Association (IWA), Institute of Water, Water Aid and British Water. These videos will be part of an Awards Event at the IWA Digital World Congress in May and feature in the run up events to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26.

The organisers are calling for short video portraits (no longer than 5 minutes) of water sector research projects and the challenges they are seeking to address. Tell your water stories, help propel the water industry into the digital age, and show how the research community is driving us towards solutions!

Who can submit a video?

The competition is open to anyone, whether you are a professional in the industry, a student, or just a water industry enthusiast.

What should my video be about?

The organisers want to see videos of your water projects, Top Ops tapping, pump stripping, fixes and more – and want community water stories from the developed to the developing world, COVID/lockdown working and of course innovation! The latest and best offerings to the sector, or the best in customer engagement.

The competition closes on 15 May 2021. Visit the Water Industry TV website to find out more and enter this competition.
